DOWNLOAD FLYER AND PERMISSION SLIP The Okefenokee Black Powder Shooters course will be held in the Savannah section at the Rincon Church of God – May 30 & 31, 2008 (New Date). Make plans to attend. Cost is $40 and includes all materials and shooting supplies. A special Father/Son discount price of $70 will be offered. All hand carried firearm black powder disciplines will be taught with range qualifying on three rifle disciplines. Darrell Crouch (Traveler) will be working to certify more black powder shooters in the GA district. Contact Darrell Crouch for details and course specifics. dscrouch@bellsouth.net It’s pretty simple, extremely educational and loads of fun!! You need NOT be an FCF member to participate. The classes are open to all boys – men – girls and women who desire to learn firearm safety and the correct way to shoot in the discipline of Black Powder. It’s a great family sport – and it’s not just for men and FCF’ers! Minimum age requirement is twelve (12) years and requires a permission slip to be signed by parent or guardian before the start of class. Classes will start on Friday evening at 6PM and conclude on Saturday afternoon with 8 hours of classroom time plus range time and test. Upon successful course completion you will be awarded an NMLRA shooters card which qualifies you to compete in Royal Ranger and NMLRA/NRA black powder rifle competition events. |
