If you are an Current CI Instructor please complete the ICS Information Page and return it to Greg Rudy. ICS Application Process Application is sent to District Training Coordinator It is checked for completeness, and for qualifications May be sent back to candidate if qualifications are not met If accepted, CI Notebook and open-book exam are sent to candidate -- Candidate receives the CI Notebook and open-book exam -- Candidate reads through the Notebook, takes the exam, and mails the exam back to district training coordinator Must score at least 85% on exam If score lower is than 85%, must wait one year to reapply for ICS If candidate passes exam, he is assigned to an experienced IT or CI for an apprenticeship -- Candidate team-teaches with mentor Mentor evaluates candidate at least twice using Instructor Assessment Form Once the two assessment forms are received by training coordinator, candidate is invited to the next ICS -- Contact the Training Coordinator or your Sectional Commander to schedule assisting with teaching a module for evaluation.
